T his site will be a National Presence on the Web for any and all of the Occupy Faith city-movements – that have been created as the Faith Community responds to the miraculous development of the Occupy Wall Street event that began September 17th of this year.
Many churches and clergy have begun marvelous works for their local Occupy-sites as well as their own faith communities. There are many more faith communities and leaders who want to join with their city Occupy-sites.
Faith communities are seeing this Occupy-struggle and as the civil rights movement of the 21st Century. The time is upon us as people of Faith to answer the call of our God within us, and act on behalf of the poor and the widows and the orphans and the future of this fragile Earth.
This effort is Blessed.
This moment is real.
It is here.
It is time to occupy our faith and be God’s beloved community.
Peace to Us All..
OccupyFaith and Faithfully
OccupyFaith will solicit contributions of ideas and plans and events to share with all partners. OccupyFaith exits as our service to each other so we might stay connected, encouraged, and strengthened by each others courage and love.
Directions for sharing information, photos, videos, calendar events, editorials, suggestions, and reports will be forthcoming.
OccupyFaith will also network with religious websites that are supportive of the Occupy Wall Street Movement.
